Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Team Manager to lead and develop our claims staff across a defined Tennessee territory from a remote-field setting. You will oversee hiring, training, and performance, while ensuring investigations, payments, and adjustments are efficiently handled from home-based or mobile office locations.

The role requires strong communication, demonstrated leadership, and agility to support a wide range of claim activities.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership behaviors including customer focus and team motivation.
• Physical agility for frequent lifting, ladder work, roof inspections, and tight spaces.
• May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training.
• A valid driver’s license is required; MVR checks may be conducted.

This is a Remote-Field position in which you will work from home and utilize a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments. Candidates may be asked to work outside of their assigned territory as business needs dictates. Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of equivalent work experience
• Claims operations and/or call center experience
• Prior leadership experience
• Experience with Xactimate, XactContents

• Potential starting salary range: $107,000-$142,000 annually
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
  • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
