Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Claim Advisor Auto Total Loss to join our team in delivering fair and timely settlements for policyholders. You will investigate vehicle values, review supporting documents, and ensure adherence to departmental standards while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in auto insurance, familiarity with auto terminology and estimates, and are enrolled in CIP or willing to enroll. Total loss experience and ICAR coursework are assets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in an auto insurance related position.
• Enrolled in, or willing to enroll in CIP designation.
• Understanding of auto terminology, car market and auto estimates.
• Excellent organizational and negotiating skills.
• Total loss experience is considered an asset.
• ICAR courses are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and research the value of vehicles through various methods.
• Review and analyze documents from internal and external sources in relation to the evaluation process for vehicles and our insured’s.
• Adhere to and maintain departmental standards and/or KPI’s.
• Provide a superior customer service experience for policyholders and prompt and equitable settlement of claims.

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 47,800.00 - 73,000.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
