Job summary

Oerlikon is seeking a Cladding and Canning Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm, M–F) at our Plymouth, MI facility. You will blend, mix, cure and screen clad products while meeting HSE, quality and productivity goals.

You will coordinate work orders and drive continuous improvement in safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining production records, communicating issues to managers, and supporting inventory and preventive maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic math (decimals, fractions, percentages).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Customer focus for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Blend, mix, cure, screen, and pack clad products.
• Follow product instructions and specifications.
• Maintain production records and report issues promptly.
