Liberty Aviation Charter, LLC d/b/a Eagle Air Aviation is an on-demand 14 C.F.R . § 135 operator with a principal/main base of operations at the Capital City Airport in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Eagle Air Aviation provides fixed-wing and helicopter private charters and fixed-wing organ transport.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CJ Captain. The role is based in Harrisburg, PA. The CJ Captain will be responsible for operating the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and procedures. Additionally, the CJ Captain will conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers, and manage all aspects of flight planning, including navigation, fuel management, and weather assessment. Effective communication with ATC and the ground crew prior to take-off, during flight, and upon landing is also required.

Qualifications

  • ATP MEL
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate
  • 525 type rating with 100 hours in type preferred
  • Reside or willing to relocate to within one hour driving distance of the principal base of operations
  • Proven experience in flight operations and safety protocols
  • Excellent navigation, fuel management, and weather assessment skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and make timely decisions
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and days and nights, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
  • Experience in managing passenger safety and comfort
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautics, or related field preferred
