Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Civils Supervisor (SC Cleared) to lead civil activities on energy projects in Chester. The role requires supervision of ducting, drainage and groundworks, and coordination of site teams to deliver works safely and to programme.

The ideal candidate will have proven Civils Supervisor experience, strong HSE knowledge, the ability to interpret drawings, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Current SC Clearance is essential.
• Proven experience as a Civils Supervisor.
• Strong background in energy civils, ducting, drainage and groundworks.
• Experience supervising teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Oversee ducting, drainage, groundworks and associated energy civils.
• Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and plant.
• Ensure works are completed safely and in line with programme and specification.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor quality.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers and engineers.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in energy civils, ducting, drainage and groundworks, with experience supervising site teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
