Job summary

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, seeks a civil/environmental or water resources engineer to join our Millersville, Maryland team. Projects include stream restoration, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, wetlands mitigation design and living shoreline assessment without compromising safety and compliance.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental or related field and EIT. Preferred: up to five years of relevant experience and expertise with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D,

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resources or biological engineering, or closely related discipline; EIT.
• PREFERRED: Up to five years of relevant experience; stream restoration design; hydrologic/hydraulic modelling; floodplain modelling; AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, TR-55; Master’s degree.

Position Overview

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a civil/environmental/water resources or biological engineer interested in wetlands, streams, and water resources to join our Millersville, Maryland team. Projects include stream restoration, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, low impact development, wetlands mitigation design, and living shoreline assessment and design.

Job Duties

Primary duties will include:

• Stream restoration design, project drawings
• Stream assessment and monitoring
• Stream restoration construction oversight
• Hydrologic watershed analysis
• Hydraulic analysis of open and closed drainage systems
• SWM/LID/BMP design
• Living shoreline assessments and design
• Wetlands mitigation design, project drawings
• Clean Water Act permitting
• Chesapeake Bay preservation studies and approvals
• Preparing presentations for hearings and client review
• Other civil and environmentally-related studies
• Autodesk® computer aided design work

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
