Job summary

Caltrans is seeking a Transportation Engineer to work under the Senior Transportation Engineer and support the Traffic Safety Office in delivering the HM4-Safety program proposals according to HM program timelines. The role requires collaboration with district Traffic Safety to finalize assets and CFD projects for the fiscal year.

A valid California Driver's License is required, and a PE license is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
• Professional Engineering License is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the project proposal for the HM4-Safety program in accordance with the Major Maintenance (HM) Program timelines and schedule.
• Collaborate with district Traffic Safety to finalize the candidate assets and projects for the Major Maintenance Contract for Delivery (CFD) for the fiscal year.
