Job description

We are seeking a USCIS-designated Civil Surgeon to join our healthcare team in Colorado. The Civil Surgeon will be responsible for conducting medical examinations and completing immigration-related medical documentation in compliance with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) guidelines. This role requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and strong patient communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform immigration medical examinations as required by USCIS.
  • Review medical history, conduct physical examinations, and order or review required laboratory tests and vaccinations.
  • Accurately complete and certify USCIS Form I‑693 and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal immigration health regulations and USCIS policies.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely medical records.
  • Communicate findings clearly and compassionately to patients.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, laboratory services, and administrative personnel.
  • Stay current with USCIS updates, vaccination requirements, and public health guidelines.
  • Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
    • Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Colorado.
    • USCIS designation as a Civil Surgeon.
    • Board‑certified or board‑eligible preferred.Strong knowledge of preventive care, vaccinations, and communicable disease screening.
    • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience conducting immigration medical exams.
    • Multilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages preferred).
    • Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or public health.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Cultural sensitivity and patient‑centered approach.
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Outpatient clinic or medical office setting.
  • Flexible scheduling options available.
Base Pay Range

$200.00/hr - $200.00/hr

Compensation
  • $200/hour and 8‑12 hours per week (but flexible).
