We are seeking a Construction Manager (Civil, Structure, Architecture) to support multiple data center projects for a top technology client. This role requires strong interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, self-direction, client representation, and solid project management fundamentals. Experience in data center development, design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements is highly desirable.

You will play a key role in mentoring staff, building long-term client relationships, and pursuing new business opportunities, including strategy development, proposal, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

1. Apply modern project management techniques within complex, multi-disciplinary organizations; understand engineering, design, procurement, contracting, safety, construction, and commissioning processes.
2. Establish and maintain strong client relationships; communicate effectively with technical and management personnel.
3. Manage assigned projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
4. Create and deliver presentations on project progress, findings, and recommendations.
5. Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
6. Prepare RFPs, support contractor selection, and manage contract awards.
7. Coordinate with contractors to develop CPM baseline schedules.
8. Perform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource constraints.
9. Identify project risks, gaps, and opportunities; recommend mitigation strategies.
10. Lead project meetings, including OAC meetings; document minutes and action items.
11. Review and validate project progress, pay applications, and invoices.
12. Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with designers, engineers, and construction managers.
13. Contribute to business development through strategy, positioning, proposals, and contract negotiations.
14. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems.
• Experience in report development for diverse audiences.
• Client-facing experience.
• Ability to interpret technical construction programs and communicate progress effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's in Construction Management.
• BSc. in Construction Engineering.
• Experience with Earned Value Management.
• Membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar organizations.
• PMP or CCM certification.
• Extensive experience in data center development and construction.
