Framatome North America in Lynchburg, VA, seeks a supervisor for the Civil/Structural team to manage a group performing concrete, steel, SSI/FSI analyses, and related structural assessments. You will mentor engineers, influence proposals, and contribute to new designs and analysis methods.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of related experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

As the supervisor of the Civil/Structural team you will manage a team that performs a large variety of structural analysis. Analyses include assessments of concrete and structural steel, lifting and rigging, haul route assessments, soil-structure interaction (SSI), fluid-structure interaction (FSI), In-Structure Response Spectra (ISRS) generation, tornado missile impacts, piping analysis and pipe supports. You will provide inputs to new proposal opportunities, provide input to new designs and analysis methodologies, and mentor the development of new engineers.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Total Rewards Package

• Salary: $99,000- $134,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
