Job summary

Wells is seeking an engineering student intern to participate in the Wells Engineering Development Program, gaining hands-on experience in quality control, field services, and design. You will be exposed to precast manufacturing, construction operations, and work with professional engineers in a mentored environment.

Shadow QC technicians, perform concrete tests, learn production tracking systems, and assist with layout, scheduling, and jobsite coordination while exploring a long-term

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in civil or structural engineering.
• Strong interest in precast concrete, structural design, and construction.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Quality Control technicians and assist plant inspection.
• Perform concrete testing in lab environments.
• Learn Concrete Vision or similar tracking systems.
• Conduct pre-pour inspections and formwork checks.
• Assist with layout, scheduling, and logistics planning.
• Support field operations and reporting.
