Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC seeks a civil engineer with a structural focus to join our Springfield, VA area team. You will perform structural analyses and develop detailed designs across materials from steel to concrete, collaborating with multidiscipline engineers to deliver mission-focused solutions.

The role requires an FE/PE/SE pathway, an ABET-accredited civil engineering degree, 8+ years (or 6+ years with a master’s) and a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph. Travel <10% is expected.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph; clearance sponsorship provided
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program
• Passed FE exam; eligible for PE and SE licensure
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, or 6+ years with a master's degree (structural focus)
• Strong background in structural analysis, design codes, materials testing and construction practices
• Experience with CAD software; Autodesk & SolidWorks platforms preferred; RAM/Risa/Tekla/SkyCiv/IDEA StatiCA

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses and generate detailed designs for steel, concrete, wood and composites
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil and electrical engineers to produce effective solutions
• Review designs and calculations for code compliance; mentor junior engineers
• Support project managers and coordinate internal/external resources; communicate with customers
