Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for a Civil/Structural Engineer – (Remote) PE and Geo Technical/Structural Experience Required

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer (PE) to join our innovative design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles, with a focus in GeoTechnical and Structural.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform preliminary pile designs, takeoffs, and quotations. Review and understand the project plans, specifications, and geotechnical report.
2. Provide design and material recommendations including Value Engineering (VE) pile/foundation design alternates.
3. Collaborate with the Team to understand client and project needs to offer the most economical design.
4. Coordinate and participate in conference calls between the project teams.
5. Prepare preliminary design submittal and coordinate material quote with the team.

Execute signed & sealed design submittals:

1. Verify all project information (plans, specifications, and geotechnical report) is available and adequate for the design process.
2. Execute submittal completion within the project schedule and budget.
3. Review and execute any revisions required, while maintaining the original design intent and budget.
4. Provide supporting documentation as required.

Leadership and Sales Scope:

1. Provide technical sales support to effectively pitch VE alternates to clients and project engineers.
2. Attend tradeshows, professional conferences, and training sessions.
3. Provide technical presentations to engineering firms (PDH accredited).
4. Mentor and coach junior engineers.
5. Develop and foster strong professional relationships with respected engineers and industry leaders to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing within the specific industry.

Skills:

1. Licensed Professional Engineer required.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
3. Geotechnical and structural engineering experience required.
4. Proficiency in CAD software such as Inventor is essential.
5. Expertise in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
