Job summary

Kinectrics is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform design and analysis for power-plant projects, including development of plans, drawings, specifications, and design calculations. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and utilities, and support field activities.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3–5 years progressively responsible experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, materials science, and statistics.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Experience with engineering software such as Mathcad, MATLAB, and FEA tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analysis for civil/structural projects at power plants.
• Develop plans, drawings, specifications, and design calculations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and utilities; provide field support and as-built documentation.
