Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join our Tyler, Texas team. The role supports planning, design, and execution of civil and structural projects for industrial facilities, focusing on safe, practical, and constructible solutions.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, and vendors through all project phases, develop designs, perform analyses, and ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of five years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license or progress toward licensure is required.
• Experience with STAAD structural-analysis software.
• Experience with industrial facilities and foundations.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil and structural designs, calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and construction documents.
• Design reinforced-concrete foundations for equipment, vessels, tanks, pipe racks, structures, buildings, and packaged systems.
• Coordinate design requirements with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and equipment vendors.
• Review vendor, fabricator, surveyor, geotechnical, and subcontractor deliverables for compliance with project requirements.
• Assist project managers with scope development, engineering estimates, schedules, progress tracking, and change management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university

Professional Engineer license or progress toward professional licensure
