Stiver Engineering in Houston seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer I to join our team. You will perform designs for tunnels, shoring, and emergency response projects, focusing on structural steel and reinforced concrete plans for government, commercial, industrial facilities.

The role requires 5+ years of experience (as stated) and fluency in English, with a hybrid work schedule and a competitive salary range of $85k–$90k per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Experience analyzing survey, mapping, and materials-testing data with computer modeling.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, RISA, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design structures including loads and stresses.
• Prepare engineering designs and documents confirming specifications.
• Create projects by studying concept, drawings, and models.
• Develop construction specifications, plans and schedules.
• Guide CAD technicians for rendering project drawings.
• Review the technical adequacy of work.
