Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types

Annual Bonus, Sign-on bonus, and Stock options

We are hiring at multiple levels! Candidates with 4+ years of experience may qualify for the Engineer level; those with 6–8+ years of experience may qualify for the Senior Engineer level.

Position Summary:

Join a dynamic Engineering team responsible for the design, analysis, and project management of structural systems and components (SSCs) across steam and electric generating stations. This role provides full lifecycle engineering—from conceptual design through construction support—and involves both in-house design and consultant oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil/structural design projects for generating station systems and components
• Prepare design packages, construction specifications, and bid evaluations
• Conduct structural analysis, cost-benefit studies, and field investigations
• Develop budgets, prepare appropriations, and track schedules
• Provide construction field support and emergency engineering response as needed
• Oversee consultant and internal technical teams to ensure engineering quality
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, NYC Building Code)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 4+ years of civil/structural engineering experience
• Bachelor's and 8+ years, or Master's and 6+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience:

• Strong background in steel, concrete, and masonry structure design
• Experience with building envelope restoration, façade/roof systems
• Familiarity with STAAD, SAP2000, AutoCAD, MathCAD, and other design tools
• Experience developing technical documents, cost estimates, and project schedules

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or P.E. preferred
