Superior Engineering, LLC seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to lead projects from concept through installation. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and designers and oversee design, analysis, and field activities.

Requirements include a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and 10 years of experience. PE preferred or SE adds value; proficiency with Excel, MathCad, Staad Pro and Risa is desired. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 10 years of engineering, design, and analysis experience.

• Foundation and steel design experience in an industrial environment.
• Capable of laying out foundations and steel structures.
• Design retrofits, pipe racks and process structures.
• Perform code analysis, structural evaluations, reports and inspections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a structural project team in planning, scheduling, engineering, and design execution from start to finish.
• Determines the structural scope, manages schedule and budgets, and communicates changes to the team.
• Interacts with clients; attends client and internal team meetings.
• Assists with project proposals including man-hour estimation for structural engineering and/or design.

An experienced Structural Engineer works with a team of engineers, architects, and designers to execute projects in all areas of structural engineering including conceptual design to installation engineering services, inclusive of estimating, equipment specifications, detailed design, equipment inspection, field installation oversight, and commissioning and client interaction.

Core Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Ten years of engineering, design, and analysis experience.
• PE preferred / SE an added plus.
• Experience in foundation and steel design in an industrial environment.
• Capable of preparing layout and design of foundations and steel structures.
• Design building retrofits, pipe racks and process structures.
• Perform code analysis, structural evaluations, reports, and inspections.
• Demonstrates good engineering judgement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other team members and prepare reports.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Conversant in use of computer programs such as Excel, Math Cad, Staad Pro and Risa.
• Conversant in use of building codes such as IBC, ACI 318, AISC and ASCE7.
