Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in underground construction and/or mining.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible within 6 months.
• Experience with IBC, ASCE, AISC and ACI codes.
• Experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and stamp civil/structural systems for tunneling, shaft sinking and mine development projects.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and reports; lead design team.
• Assist with modifications to existing equipment and provide technical support.
• Travel to site as required.
