Job Title: Civil Site Superintendent

Job Location: Charleston, SC or Jacksonville, NC

Salary: $80K-120K

Requirements: 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience required. Experience with water/sewer lines, grading and additional underground utilities required.

Position Overview

The Civil Site Superintendent will oversee construction projects, ensuring that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines. The role is critical in managing site development and heavy civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management regarding status and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning construction activities.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to guide site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed to specifications and quality standards.
• Manage procurement of materials and ensure they are delivered on time to avoid project delays.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent in heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of utility, earthwork, site, roadway, grading, sewer, waterline, and wastewater projects.
• Force Main, gravity sewer, water main and box culvert experience required.
• Experience with Commercial, Municipal, ASACE, and Government Projects
