Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking an entry-level Civil Site Staff Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. You will support land development design with guidance from licensed engineers, using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel to refine plans and calculations.

You'll work closely with project teams on grading, utilities, parking, roadways, and stormwater, gaining hands-on experience from day one in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or related civil engineering field.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office or local project sites.
• Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Team Leaders on land development projects.
• Gain hands-on experience in drafting, plan production, field inspections, design coordination, and cost estimation.
• Use AutoCAD and HydroCAD to support stormwater design solutions.
• Assist with calculations, permit applications, writing technical specs, and creating exhibits.
• Take on various project tasks to gain broad exposure from concept to construction.
• Other duties as assigned

American Structurepoint's Civil Site Engineering Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA! In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You'll collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to the design and development of land development projects that impact local communities.
