Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks an Engineer 3 to advance civil-site development and permitting for utility projects including substations, transmission lines, and battery storage. You will lead discipline work, prepare design packages, and support project schedules and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Required ABET-accredited civil engineering degree, 3–5 years’ experience, and PE license or ability to obtain within a year. Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcMap skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to be licensed within a year.
• 3-5 years of experience as a civil/structural engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical expertise for civil-site development and permitting for power projects.
• Lead discipline work on projects and support project managers with schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Develop and review substation civil-site drawing packages per industry standards.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and sketches; ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Interact with customers' engineers and professionals and maintain client relationships.
