Job summary

AEC Consulting Group in Marietta, GA is seeking a Site Civil Engineer with 2–10 years of land development experience. The role focuses on site civil design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, leveraging AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce grading, drainage, and utilities models.

You will work on feasibility studies, prepare conceptual layouts, coordinate with disciplines, and support permit submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related field)
• 2–10 years of hands-on post graduate land-development/site-civil design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (v2020 or later)
• EIT certification; PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Civil 3D models and construction-ready drawings (grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control)
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic calculations per applicable regulations
• Lead QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with internal disciplines and external agencies to resolve design/interface issues and support permit submittals
• Provide construction support during site development phases

They deliver innovative land‑development and civil/site‑engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects, and support a variety of other market sectors. They are seeking a Land Development Engineer (site civil) with 2-10 years of relevant experience in the land development engineerinn. This person should have a strong background in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

*** Professional experience with Civil Site Design for commercial or residential facilities is a must.
