The role requires a PE license, a bachelor's in a related field, and 15+ years of leadership in civil site or land development projects in New England. Strong communication, delegation and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.).
• Civil site or land development project experience in Boston or surrounding metro area in New England.
• Excellent communication and leadership across large teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and delegation skills.
• Collaborative and accountable leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and strategic direction for a discipline to achieve financial and growth goals.
• Owns productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work across the discipline.
• Leads marketing and business development strategies in collaboration with marketing and BD teams.
• Monitors proposal development, contracts, billing, and collections per SOPs.
• Ensures staff utilization and regular backlog reviews; addresses under-performing staff.
• Acts as a resource for leadership and cross-discipline collaboration.
• Manages succession planning and holds managers accountable for staff development.
