Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Site Superintendent to lead our environmental and civil projects. Responsibilities include:

• Leading project teams
• Scheduling and supervising craft employees and staff at project sites
• Communicating effectively with clients, regulators, and team members
• Executing projects safely, on time, and within budget

This remote position requires periodic travel (<25%).

Responsibilities/Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Organizing and planning field activities
• Reviewing project schedules and coordinating field activities
• Ensuring construction compliance with drawings and specifications
• Supervising large-scale earth-moving projects safely and efficiently
• Training craft labor and overseeing work performance
• Managing project scope changes, schedule, and safety protocols
• Participating in safety planning, incident investigations, and mentoring

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• 10+ years supervising in similar construction environments
• Valid DMV driving qualifications
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control
• Ability to manage projects within scope, schedule, and budget
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with MS Project and PowerPoint is a plus
• Current OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER and Supervisor Training
• Understanding of environmental regulations and permit processes
• Experience managing subcontractors and field activities
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• BA/BS in relevant fields; advanced degrees may reduce experience requirements
• Experience with federal contracts (USACE, EPA, Air Force)
• Remediation experience, project management certification (PMP), USACE safety and quality standards
