This position assists with the implementation of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Support Services and On-the-Job Training (OJT) Services Programs for Alaska. The incumbent provides a high degree of outreach administrative support, event planning and marketing in support of these programs.

This position assists businesses with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and On the Job Training (OJT) Support services.
The incumbent will enjoy being a member of a small but talented, positive and focused team full of welcoming researchers, ADA/Title VI/DBE/OJT/SBE specialists, and contract compliance officers.
The incumbent will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience with the support for career advancement.
After you have received training and are successfully progressing through the probationary period, part-time telework may be an option for this position.
This position is located at 2200 East 42nd Avenue in the Annex Building in Anchorage. The building is located at the intersection of Lake Otis & Tudor. It is a shared office with another member of the Civil Rights Office team. Work is primarily conducted in an office setting at a computer or collaborating with others.
To be successful in this position, the selected applicant will possess the following core competencies:
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities in.
equivalent to those typically gained by:
professional experience monitoring contractor activities and administering construction contracts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as Affiantente Action, Equal Employment, Opportunity, and nondiscrimination.
