Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Lansing, Michigan, seeks a dedicated Civil Rights Attorney for Medicaid litigation and advocacy funded by grants. This full-time role may extend beyond five years if funding allows.

You will provide direct representation to individuals with disabilities in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings, and develop impact litigation while collaborating with staff and outside counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Michigan.
• Minimum three years' relevant litigation experience.
• Experience in complex litigation, 1983 litigation, Medicaid Act litigation, and/or ADA litigation preferred.
• Ability to lead litigation in federal and state courts.
• Valid Michigan identification and ability to travel as required.
• Commitment to civil rights and ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Administrative hearing experience is highly desired.
• Technological proficiency in creating legal documents and using case management systems.

Responsibilities
