Company Description

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Water & Wastewater candidate to join our Water & Wastewater Group located in our Raleigh, NC office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • The Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects and the development of client accounts.
  • Responsibilities include marketing and client development, ensuring technical quality, profitability, schedule adherence, coordinating project staff, client communications, negotiating scopes and fees, billing, and assisting in collection of fees when required, as well as client follow-up and maintenance.
  • The Project Manager must maintain strong relationships with clients, cross-sell Timmons Group services, and communicate regularly with the Group Leader.
  • Ability to manage several mid-sized projects and multiple small projects simultaneously.

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with relevant work experience and professional registration (P.E.) in North Carolina or other states where Timmons Group operates.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering related to Water/Wastewater or Infrastructure markets.
  • Proficiency in designing and managing project portions using relevant software, modeling, CADD technology, and performing engineering calculations.
  • Ability to prepare specifications, research materials, and assist in engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, staff, and internal teams.
