Job summary

SEH is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our Omaha office. You will lead civil engineering projects, build strong client relationships, and help grow SEH’s Nebraska practice with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license in Nebraska or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships.
• Proven ability to develop opportunities, prepare proposals, and win work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, public-sector, and private clients in Nebraska.
• Identify, pursue, and win new project opportunities.
• Serve as Project Manager for civil engineering projects.
• Lead project teams from pursuit through design and construction.
• Prepare project approaches, scopes of work, and fee proposals.
• Partner with staff and business development to craft winning client solutions.
• Represent SEH at client meetings, public meetings, industry organizations, and events.
• Mentor engineers and staff while shaping a positive team culture.
• Collaborate across disciplines to provide innovative client solutions.
• Help expand SEH's presence in Nebraska and surrounding markets.
