Job summary

Michels Road & Stone, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Civil to lead mass excavation, underground utilities, paving, and hardscape scopes on large projects in Milwaukee, WI.

The role focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating activities to meet goals within schedule and budget, while delivering safe and quality outcomes. You will work with field teams and subcontractors, requiring strong communication, independent work habits, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related construction management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to read blueprints and plan sets.
• Must possess a valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience with Project Management and Estimating software (HCSS, etc.).
• Experience with scheduling software (P6, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage large complex projects or multiple medium projects to ensure profitability.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet goals within time and funding parameters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
