Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks a Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects in Tampa. Responsibilities include safety leadership, owner coordination, plan interpretation, and budget oversight for $50M+ ventures.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience managing heavy construction projects (highways/bridges) over $50M.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software and Bluebeam Revu takeoff.
• Experience using MS PowerBI and Heavy Job HCCS for civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a Safety First attitude throughout the project and manage personnel assignments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owner or owner’s representative.
• Read, understand, and plan according to work specs and contract responsibilities.
• Anticipate conflicts, communicate preventive action plans, and implement solutions.
• Create, update, review, and maintain RFI and Submittal logs.
• Select and oversee Subcontractors and Suppliers.
• Create, update, review, and manage project budget and cost control.
• Monitor equipment costs and implement budget strategies.
• Schedule the project in logical steps using P6 CPM.
• Provide leadership and share knowledge to the team.
• Oversee field activities with Superintendents for progress.
