• Ability to interpret drawings, contracts, specifications, and schedules and build accurate takeoffs and proposals.
• Strong command of job cost, forecasting, WIP, billing, cash flow, change orders, and risk management.
• Ability to lead field and office coordination while managing bids and multiple active projects using estimating and project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Review civil bid documents, drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop precise takeoffs, cost estimates, and production assumptions.
• Prepare competitive proposals with clear scope, qualifications, allowances, and alternates; work with Preconstruction on pricing strategy and risk.
• Own bid documentation, client clarifications, and turnover of quantities, assumptions, exclusions, schedule, and buyout strategy.
• Lead awarded civil projects through closeout, coordinating field leadership, subcontractors, procurement, equipment, and clients.
• Own project cost tracking, forecasting, WIP, billing, cash flow, and production performance to protect profitability.
• Price and document change orders, manage schedule and execution risks, and maintain accurate project records.
• Compare actual job costs and production with the estimate; use lessons learned to improve future bids and project delivery.
