Job summary

Pioneer Design Group – Hawaiʻi, LLC. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead design and analysis on diverse civil projects. You will prepare plans, specs, and reports, and perform site visits to ensure safety and conformity with design requirements.

The role requires a PE license in Hawaiʻi and 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D. In-office, Honolulu location, with potential hybrid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license in Hawaiʻi required or eligible.
• 10+ years in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar software.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on design and analysis of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review plans, specs, and reports.
• Conduct site visits and inspections for compliance with design and safety standards.
• Collaborate with principal engineers and staff to develop solutions.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers and designers.

Position Overview

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Professional Engineering License in the State of Hawaiʻi
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
