Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• Assistance with projects including storm-water management planning and design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8, and GIS.

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Water Resources team. Locations

• North Carolina – Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Kinston, Holly Springs, Wake Forest
• South Carolina – Rock Hill, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Conway

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform preliminary layout, modeling, and design.
• Research and prepare rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Assist with project design and preparation of plans and specifications, and prepare cost and quantity take‑off estimates.
• Assist with plan reviews, storm‑water pollution prevention plans, design of storm‑water facilities, detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm‑water management planning.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8, and GIS.

Licenses & Certifications

• Professional Engineer (required).

Skills

• CIVIL3D (preferred).
• MicroStation (preferred).
• REVIT (preferred).
