Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Transportation Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in our Denver office. You will perform detailed design computations, layout and modeling, and assist with plans, specifications, and cost estimates. A PE license and extensive experience in transportation and municipal infrastructure are essential.

Brazilian? Please disregard. This role emphasizes proficiency in civil design tools and effective coordination with project teams in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 8+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including transportation and municipal infrastructure.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• Proficiency in ORD, AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS.

Transportation Project Engineer, PE

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in our Denver office. With over 75 years of experience, we provide community infrastructure solutions across the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed design computations
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepares cost and quantity take‑off estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university or closely related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• 8+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including transportation and municipal infrastructure
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
• Proficiency in ORD, AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and their own transportation. Reimbursement is provided for business‑related travel.

Salary Range

$68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
