Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Engineer to support delivery of civil land development projects from inception to completion. You will prepare technical drawings, perform code searches, and deliver contract documents while coordinating with clients, consultants, and our team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within the Civil Engineering field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required.
• EI (Engineering Intern) Certificate required.
• Experience working on land / site development projects required.
• Experience drafting stormwater drainage reports and completing drainage design using H&H stormwater modeling software such as ICPR (StormWise), PONDS, HydroCAD, and/or Hydraflow for Florida projects preferred.
• Experience preparing Site Plans, Grading Plans, and Utility Plan and Profiles in Florida preferred.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for permitting and construction.
• Assist PM to plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each phase of the project.
• Prepare stormwater calculations, assist in processing permits.
• Provide construction phase services (Site visits, review shop drawings).
• Assist in reviewing local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project.
• Coordinate with Ware Malcomb consultants and client consultants to produce complete contract documents and specifications for permit and construction.
