Galloway & Company invites a Civil Project Engineer to join our team. You will prepare site designs and engineering documents, support project permitting, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

You'll apply civil engineering principles to site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design, manage multiple projects, and contribute to business development while upholding our emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering from a board approved four year engineering curriculum
• 2–4 years of civil engineering experience required
• At least 2 years of land development experience is highly preferred
• Possession of a PE license or eligibility to take the PE exam within six months of hire
• Estimated starting salary is between 95,000 and 120,000 based on experience

Responsabilités

• Applying civil engineering principles to site layout, grading, stormwater drainage, water and sewer, erosion control and roadway/fueling design
• Assisting in technical writing for civil reports, letters and permit documents
• Drafting construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Preparing improvement plans, specifications and permit applications
• Performing and reviewing calculations for drainage systems, water/wastewater, transportation and site earthwork quantities
• Recognizing data discrepancies and resolving them through detailed step-by-step processes
• Managing multiple projects with attention to schedule, budget and client expectations
• Playing an active role in business development and client engagement
