The role involves leading multiple civil engineering projects, collaborating with Project Managers, preparing feasibility studies, and providing technical advice to clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 4+ years of progressive civil engineering experience; municipal infrastructure preferred.
• Experience with plan and specification development and construction contract administration.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency and related design tools.
• Valid driver's license; travel to facilities and job sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel (design and construction).
• Work with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports.
• Provide technical advice on design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and staff.
• Assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals).
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
• Work closely with Project Managers in understanding client needs and expectations.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies
• Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports
• Provides technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members
• May assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure preferred
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
• Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required
