Zohorecruit is seeking a registered Professional Engineer for a Kentucky-based role in Lexington. The position involves general site layout, earthwork planning and estimates, storm water drainage, piping and site drainage, roadway design, and building pad layout. Will work with a civil team under an experienced manager; AutoCAD/Civil 3D/MicroStation skills preferred.

Part-time option available (20+ hours/week). Company pays 2/3 of medical premiums; PTO negotiable.

Qualifications

• Registered Engineer in Kentucky.
• Experience with site planning and earthwork quantities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Looking for a registered Professional Engineer in Kentucky.

Position would be responsible for:

• The work would include general site layout, earthwork planning and quantifications/ estimates, design of storm water drainage, piping and overall site drainage, roadway planning and design and building pad layout and design.
  
• Experience with site permitting, preparation of complete plans, specifications and contract documents, contract administration and dealing with local, state and other governmental agencies are all a plus.
  
• Person would work under a highly experienced manager with over 50 years of experience as well as a highly experienced civil team.
  
• AutoCAD experience (general, Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.) is needed, but general experience is sufficient; high levels of expertise are not required.
  
• Project management would either be the role or a future role for these positions, depending on the current level of experience.
  

Compensation is negotiable

• Site Planning and Layout Design. Experience in industrial site, municipal site and industrial park or business park site planning is a plus.
