Job description
BG Consultants, Inc. is searching for an experienced project engineer / manager to join our growing team in Manhattan and Emporia, Kansas. This is a mid-upper level position for designing general civil engineering projects in the areas of water/wastewater/stormwater, transportation and site development. Qualified individuals should be extremely dependable, responsible, and flexible with a desire to learn. He or she must have a strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines.
Design and manage general civil engineering projects in the areas of water/wastewater/stormwater, transportation and site development. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Experience: minimum 5-15+ years
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with ArcView/GIS
- Knowledge of other civil engineering design and analysis software, such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HCS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Must be resourceful and communicate with a high level of professionalism with office staff
