Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering and design firm in Texas. In this mid-level role, you will support and lead the design, permitting, and execution of land development and infrastructure projects, including site development, utility layout, grading, drainage, and roadway design.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, surveyors, municipalities, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate, technically sound

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) license is required.
• Three to five years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and road design.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects involving grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and site development.
• Prepare construction documents, plans, specifications, and technical reports per standards and client requirements.
• Create alignments, surfaces, and profiles using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, surveyors, and stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and timely delivery.
• Prepare and submit permitting documentation and coordinate with municipalities and agencies.
• Perform engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and QA/QC reviews.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits; support project from concept to construction.
