Job summary

Matrix Design Group, Inc. in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Project Engineer to support civil engineering projects, from land development to municipal facilities, under a licensed Professional Engineer.

You will plan and design civil improvements, prepare drawings and submittals, and work with engineers, planners and landscape architects; a civil engineering degree and EIT certification are required. Matrix offers an ESOP and comprehensive benefits; salary range $65,000–$85,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. Valid EIT certification required.
• Experience writing drainage reports and performing roadway and utility design in Civil 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design projects for residential, commercial, municipal facilities and infrastructure.
• Prepare construction drawings and submittal packages.
• Plan and design civil improvements and develop project exhibits.
• Coordinate with engineers, planners and landscape architects under supervision of a licensed PE.
