Job summary

Timmons Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Civil Project Engineer III for its Water & Wastewater Group to design and coordinate efforts on multiple projects in a dynamic environment. You will use Civil 3D, perform calculations, prepare specifications, and contribute to design details, cost estimates, and field observations, while communicating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 5–8 years of water resources experience, with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related degree.
• 5-8 years of experience related to water resources engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of CADD software (Civil 3D preferred).
• Dependable, responsible, and strong written/verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license.

Civil Project Engineer III - Water & Wastewater

Location: Richmond, VA

Timmons Group is currently seeking a candidate to join our Water & Wastewater Group located in our Richmond, VA office location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling and Civil 3D technology

Compensation

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $89,000-$115,000. This position is eligible for straight-time overtime. There may be flexibility on salary for experienced candidates. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials role complexity.
