Job summary

HR Green, Inc. seeks a Civil Project Engineer I in Land Development to expand technical impact and assume project task ownership within a dynamic team.

You’ll design and deliver civil/site projects, including grading, drainage, and utility systems, with opportunities to lead components and collaborate with clients and municipalities. The role emphasizes development across planning, design, permitting, and construction support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• PE license or ability to obtain soon is a MUST HAVE.
• About 5+ years of civil engineering experience (land development preferred).
• Experience with Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD (or similar) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver civil/site projects from grading and stormwater to water and wastewater systems.
• Take ownership of project components (and sometimes entire projects).
• Partner with internal teams, clients, and municipalities to solve real-world challenges.
• Lead or contribute to QA/QC efforts to ensure high-quality, buildable designs.
• Support projects through the full lifecycle from planning through construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and help elevate the team.
