  • Experience coordinating with internal team members and external consultants; client and agency interaction experience preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills when working with clients, firm staff, and agency personnel.
  • Licensure, or ability to be licensed, in Washington, Oregon, and/or California, is required

Job description

We have an immediate opening for Civil Project Engineers based in our Seattle office. Applicants shall have at least 4, and up to 15, years of experience in civil engineering design and have interest in site and public infrastructure design, sustainability, and development services.


This position will be involved in wide variety of project types, striving to integrate design and develop projects from conceptual planning to coordination of project efforts and through to approvals of design and construction. Specific, current knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.


Licensed individuals are preferred.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the project manager or project lead in delivering projects from conceptual planning through design, agency approvals, and construction.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $135,000


At Mackenzie, we work a hybrid office schedule; all staff work in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with an option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
