Bailey Engineering in Eagle, Idaho is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (EIT) to own civil design tasks within land development projects. This in-office role focuses on grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design for subdivisions, with Civil 3D production and coordination across teams.

The role emphasizes structured mentorship, PE-track growth, and hands-on ownership, with opportunities toward licensure and expanded project leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification — held or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license.

Section 01

What you would own and learn.

• Grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design for residential and commercial subdivisions
• Civil 3D production and plan-set development

Section 03

What success looks like (first year).

• Independently producing civil plan sets for subdivision projects
• Earning EIT certification, if not already obtained
• Building working relationships with agencies and project teams
• Contributing to three or more active subdivision projects
• Demonstrating initiative for increased responsibility
• Making clear progress toward PE-track milestones

Section 04

Growth path.

This role is designed as a PE-track position with structured mentorship. Depending on your strengths and ambition, growth may include:

• Direct mentorship from senior Professional Engineers
• Progressively increasing project ownership and client exposure
• Support toward PE licensure
• Transition into independent project leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
