Typical Duties Include:

• Site Civil Design including storm water, sanitary, watermain, pavement, and grading design for site and subdivision plans
• Water main and Sewer Design
• Production of site civil plans, grading plans, SESC plans, standard details, As- built plans
• Permitting and coordination with permitting agencies
• Write, review, and approve project specifications
• Direction and oversight of junior project engineers
• Cost estimates, bid letting, and contracting documents
• Maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans.
• RFI coordination, and shop drawing review
• Attending progress meetings, and preparing meeting minutes.
• Preparation of proposals
• Document creation with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• This position will require some out-of-town work assignments depending on the project requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• 6-10+ years of civil engineering experience in the private and public sectors
• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for Civil design work
• Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to shifting real world conditions
• Demonstrates motivation to modify schedule as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs
• Experience with municipal clients, geotechnical, water/waste water, structural and hydraulic engineering projects a plus
• Experience collaborating and maintaining relationships across offices
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Insurable driving record
