Job Details

Job Description: Provides project design and drafting, preparing plans, drawings, and figures to support multiple simultaneous civil engineering and geologic projects. Responsible for task implementation and completion. Assists with company business development and maintaining client relationships and satisfaction with project deliverables. Coordination is required with co-workers for task assignments, deliverables, and technical training. Task leadership, self-discipline, and attention to detail are required.

Work Assignments: Your project work assignments will include utilizing AutoCAD software to prepare plans, drawings, and figures; cost estimating; quantity estimating; and maintaining digital file systems. Field assignments may include groundwater sampling, site reconnaissance/initial evaluations, construction observations, flow measurements, and data collection/site assessments. Fieldwork is required in various weather conditions. Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Types of Projects: Projects include civil design, water resources, stormwater management, geotechnical investigations, construction quality assurance, wastewater collection and treatment, environmental permitting and compliance, environmental site assessments and remediation, and solid waste management. Typical projects involve heavy civil construction, site development, public works infrastructure, river/stream stabilization, and geologic/geotechnical modeling.
