We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, committed to design excellence, capable of managing project deadlines, establishing client relationships, and inspiring team performance.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, develop, and coordinate projects with minimal supervision.
2. Review and participate in preparing proposals.
3. Calculate and review costs and schedules for proposed work.
4. Manage and assign duties and schedules to team members.
5. Ensure technical work accuracy.
6. Exceed client expectations through collaboration and problem-solving.
7. Communicate weekly project updates to clients.
8. Recommend and implement changes as needed.
9. Maintain logs of client contacts.
10. Follow QA/QC procedures.
11. Handle permitting and entitlements, including rezoning and permits.
12. Supervise Civil Designers and ensure responsibilities are fulfilled efficiently.
13. Assist in reviewing and processing invoices.
14. Support business development efforts through client relationship management and networking.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. BS in Civil Engineering and Professional Licensure.
2. 5+ years of experience in site design projects across various sectors.
3. Design experience with site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, and erosion control.
4. Knowledge of entitlement processes and local permitting regulations.
5. Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Hydraflow, WaterCAD, and Excel.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
7. Team-oriented with adaptability and eagerness to learn.
