Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a dynamic Civil Project Engineer (Engineer 2) to join our Reno, NV team. You will contribute from design through construction on water-related projects, coordinating with clients and regulators to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, PE licensure, and 4+ years in Civil Engineering focusing on water works. AutoCAD and GIS experience are a plus; a sign-on bonus may apply and a competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction observation and management.

We’re seeking a dynamic Civil Project Engineer to join our Reno, NV team, supporting a variety of water-related projects from design through construction.

Your Responsibilities As a Civil Project Engineer

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Perform and/or lead construction observation and management
• Provide technical guidance and quality control
• Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting and compliance

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
• 4+ Years of Civil Engineering Experience with an emphasis on water related projects.
• AutoCAD experience preferred; GIS experience is a plus
